SaaS product interfaces
Multi-role apps with billing and permissions. Most of our SaaS front ends run on Next.js for routing and server rendering.
ReactJS Development
Our ReactJS development services cover the part of a product people click on all day: SaaS dashboards, customer portals, admin panels and the screens that sit on top of AI features. You get React engineers from a team of 50+, a project manager at no extra cost, and rates from $20 an hour on long engagements. The first engineer usually joins within 3–7 days.
Clients tend to arrive with one of two problems. The product already exists and every front-end change now takes a week. Or the idea is validated, the deadline is set, and there's no code yet. Either way, the expensive part is usually the same: nobody has written down what each screen should do. So our React JS development services start with a spec. Sprints come after.
We take React work at any stage, from an empty repository to a codebase three previous teams have touched. Custom React JS development services usually land in one of these areas:
Multi-role apps with billing and permissions. Most of our SaaS front ends run on Next.js for routing and server rendering.
Accounts, orders, documents and support in one place, connected to your CRM or ERP through APIs.
Reporting and admin tools for operations teams. Data collection and analytics are home ground for udata, so the dashboard and the pipeline behind it can come from one team.
Listings, search, filters and checkout. Real-estate commerce and e-commerce platforms are both in our delivery history.
Chat windows and document search on top of RAG systems. We pick the model per task, often OpenAI or Claude.
Design takes 2–3 weeks and starts together with development. Nobody waits for finished mockups before the build starts.
Fixes and React upgrades after release, handled by the engineers who wrote the code. Nobody has to learn it from scratch.
Moving class components and old state management to current React. Usually this also means shrinking the bundle and adding tests to code nobody wants to touch.
Mobile is in scope too. When the same product needs iOS and Android apps, we build them in React Native and share business logic with the web client wherever that saves work.
We recommend React JS development for products where the interface carries real logic. These are the signals we listen for on a first call:
For a ten-page marketing site with a blog, React is usually overkill. A site builder or a static generator costs less and loads faster, and we'll tell you that before quoting. Not every React JS development service request needs a team either. If you're unsure, treat the first call as a short React JS consultancy. We look at the roadmap and the people you already have, then send a stack recommendation in writing. Nobody needs to buy a separate React.js consultancy package for that. Choosing a framework on top of React is a separate question, and our comparison of Next.js and React Router covers it.
Our rates are public. The price of React.js development services depends mostly on the engagement. Long dedicated contracts get a lower hourly rate than short projects.
| Role | Dedicated, long-term | Project-based |
|---|---|---|
| Frontend developer (React) | $20/hr | $25–35/hr |
| Full-stack developer (React + Node.js or Python) | $24/hr | $30–40/hr |
| Backend developer | $20/hr | $25–35/hr |
| Mobile developer (React Native) | $22/hr | $25–40/hr |
| QA engineer | $20/hr | $20/hr |
| UI/UX designer | $15–25/hr | $15–25/hr |
| Project manager | Included | Included |
In monthly terms, one dedicated React developer full time is about $3,400 at 168 hours. A small React development team of two frontend developers and one full-stack engineer comes to roughly $10,800 a month. Use these for budgeting. Seniority and contract length move the final quote. A one-off reactjs development service, such as a performance fix on a slow page, is billed at project rates for the hours it takes.
Where React budgets slip
Rarely in the components. Budgets move when screens get redesigned mid-build because nobody wrote down what they should do. The real-estate platform in our cases went from $3,000 to $12,000 for exactly that reason.
Timing below is what we usually see on a new product. An existing codebase skips most of step 2.
Before development starts we write roughly half of the Software Requirements Specification: scope, architecture, data model and a description of each page down to its buttons. You get it in Notion, comment on it, and the remaining half fills in as the project moves. On a React front end this pays off more than people expect, because vague screens are where rework piles up.
We run projects in our own tracker. It works like Jira, with one difference clients notice in the first week: the agreed budget and scope sit next to the tickets, so you can check spend against plan whenever you like. Each engineer also posts a short written status in Slack every day. Daily standups or every-other-day calls, your choice.
The right setup depends on who will own product decisions on your side.
| Dedicated team | Engineers in your team | React development outsourcing | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who runs daily work | Our PM, on your roadmap | Your tech lead | Our PM, on agreed scope |
| Who owns delivery | Shared | You | Us |
| Fits when | You need a whole team for months | You have a lead and a process, but too few hands | You want a finished product handed over |
| Pricing | Hourly, per engineer | Hourly, per engineer | Estimate per stage |
Details for each model live on their own pages: dedicated developers, engineers added to your team and project outsourcing. As a ReactJS app development company we work in all three, and each React development service we sell is billed against an agreed budget. If one engineer can solve the problem, we'll propose one engineer.
Ask any React JS application development company for cases with the estimate and the final bill side by side. Here are two of ours, one that came in under and one that went far over.
A platform that tracks personal finances in real time through bank integrations. One designer and two developers delivered the MVP in about two months, $6,000 under plan. Scope was fixed early, we reused internal modules from previous projects, and third-party integrations replaced custom work that would otherwise have been billed. The customer-facing web client is built on React. Read the HomeWallet case
A web commerce platform for property listings, built by one full-stack developer over roughly three and a half months. It started without full product oversight, so each early assumption turned into a new requirement once we reached it. The code was fine. Figuring out the product mid-build was what cost four times the estimate, and it's the main reason we now insist on a spec first.
Domain knowledge saves more time than framework knowledge. These are the markets where udata has delivered production systems, and what the interface had to handle in each.
Bank connections, payment status and due dates that must never show stale data. HomeWallet runs on a React web client. Clear Report turns earnings calls and bank research into investor insights with AI.
A property commerce platform with listings and a purchase flow. It's the $3,000 to $12,000 case above.
An MVP marketplace for SpaceShelf with automated sales and warehouse management, built over six months. The client later extended the contract to several workstreams.
Dashboards where retailers check competitor prices, promotions and assortment every day. Retail Shake is the platform, fed by scraping pipelines we run ourselves.
Telecom and HR tech are in our history too: the RedDogFish eSIM service and recruitment tools for a Polish staffing agency.
Picking a React JS development company gets easier once you stop reading homepages. Search for ReactJS development companies and you'll find hundreds of agencies making the same promises about senior talent and fast starts. Neither can be checked from a website. Whether a vendor calls itself a React JS agency or a React software house, ask it for things you can verify:
Rankings of top React.js development companies often reflect marketing budgets as much as delivery. The best React development company for you is one that can show planned versus final cost on past work and let you leave with two weeks' notice. We're a React JS software development company based in Kyiv, and that notice period works in both directions.
React rarely ships alone. Our React software development services include the backend it talks to, usually Node.js with NestJS or Python with FastAPI, so one team owns both the API contract and the screens that depend on it. When an endpoint changes, nobody waits on another vendor to update it. That's most of the reason clients want a React software development company rather than separate front-end and backend contractors.
From $20 an hour for a dedicated frontend developer, which is about $3,400 a month full time. Project work runs $25–40 an hour depending on the role. A focused MVP with a designer and two developers usually lands in the low five figures. Our fintech MVP closed at $9,000.
When the product has to live past its first release. A freelancer can build screens. A company adds a project manager, QA, a replacement if someone leaves, and a spec the next developer can read without calling you.
Within 3–7 days of you approving a candidate. You interview every engineer before anything is signed. If someone isn't working out, finding a replacement is our job. That's part of what you pay a reactjs development company for.
You own the code. IP is assigned to you in the contract, and the code sits in your repositories from the first commit. We sign an NDA before the project starts, so you can share specs and data from day one. Sensitive data is encrypted in storage and in transit; on HomeWallet that covered bank-account information.
Yes. We use React for the browser and React Native for both phone platforms, with shared logic where it fits. A React JS app development company that covers both saves you a second vendor and a second round of API negotiations. Our React JS app development services often start on the web and add mobile once the product proves itself.
