Mobile App Development
A Native App Development Company That Ships To Both Stores

What We Build For iOS And Android
Our native app development services start with a written spec and end when both store listings are approved. These are the requests we see most.
Consumer Apps With Payments
Sign-up, subscriptions, in-app purchases. Apple and Google each have their own billing rules and refund flow, so we wire both in from the first sprint rather than bolting Android on at the end.
Fintech And Accounting Apps
Transactions, reports, numbers people check every morning. Our 92-day accounting app is one.
Mobile Clients For A Web Product
You already run a SaaS on the web and need it in people's pockets. If the API works, this is the fastest kind of project we take on.
MVPs Before A Funding Round
The one flow investors want to tap through, on real phones, distributed through TestFlight and a Google Play testing track before the public launch.
Backend And Admin Panel
An app is only as good as the API behind it. We build that too, on Node.js or FastAPI with PostgreSQL, plus an admin panel your ops team can run without calling us.
Apps For Your Own Staff
Tools for sales reps, couriers or warehouse teams. Fewer screens, more rules behind each one.
Native Code Or React Native: How We Decide
When clients ask for "native", they usually mean one thing: not a website squeezed into an app frame. A React Native app passes that test: it installs from the stores and draws its interface with the platform's own components, so scrolling and gestures behave like every other app on the phone. That's why our default for ios and android development is one shared codebase. A feature gets written once and lands on both platforms in the same release.
Where we draw the line:
| Your product | Our pick | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Accounts, payments, feeds, forms, dashboards | React Native | Shared code covers nearly all of it |
| Mobile companion to a React web app | React Native | Logic and developers move between web and mobile |
| Heavy camera work, AR, real-time audio or video processing | Native modules | Speed close to the hardware beats code sharing |
| Apple Watch, home-screen widgets, Apple TV | Swift / Kotlin | These targets need Swift or Kotlin extensions |
Both bottom rows are work we do ourselves. Our engineers write native modules in Swift and Kotlin and plug them into a React Native app, and we also take on fully native projects when the product calls for it.
Our honest take. Most forms-and-feeds products we're asked to build as two separate native apps don't need it, and the client ends up funding two teams to draw the same screens. We'd rather say that on the first call. And if your product clearly belongs in the bottom two rows, a native app development company that hides it to keep the project simple isn't doing you a favor either.
The Stack Behind Our Apps
We keep the stack boring on purpose. Every tool below is one our engineers already run in production, so your project doesn't pay for anyone's learning curve.
Mobile
Backend And Data
Cloud And Delivery
The web side runs on React and Next.js, which is a large part of why ios and android development here can borrow code from a client's existing web product.
How An iOS And Android Project Runs With Us
Our app development iOS and Android process has five steps, whether the project lasts two months or ten.
Spec Before Code
About half of the SRS is written before development starts: scope, architecture, data model. The rest fills in as the project moves. You get it in Notion, described down to every screen and every button.
Design Runs Alongside
Design takes 2–3 weeks and starts the same day as development. Nobody waits: in ios and android development the first weeks go to navigation and the API layer anyway.
Sprints You Can Watch
One- or two-week sprints, depending on how long the project runs. You get a written status in Slack every day and a standup daily or every other day. Each sprint ends with a demo plus a short document on what's done.
QA Per Feature
If the project needs QA (or you ask for it), a QA engineer checks every feature right after it's finished: manual testing plus basic automated tests, running in parallel with development rather than as a phase at the end.
Release To Both Stores
We prepare the listings, run the testing tracks and submit. Oddly, this step depends more on your developer accounts than on our code. More on that below.
Your Budget Lives In The Tracker
We run projects in our own tracker. It works like Jira with one difference that clients notice in the first week: your budget and scope sit right next to the tickets. You see spend against the agreed number whenever you want, no report request needed. That matters in android and iphone app development, where one round of store feedback can add a few unplanned days.
Getting Into The App Store And Google Play
On the mobile app development iOS side, our two latest releases spent 14 days from first submission to approval. Google Play took 20 days, and 14 of those had nothing to do with review. Zero rejections, on both stores.
Google Play's two-week gate
Personal developer accounts created after November 13, 2023 must run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days in a row before they can publish. Organization accounts skip this. An organization account needs a D-U-N-S number, so register it before development starts and the gate costs you nothing.
First-time founders in android ios app development hit this more than anything else, so we ask about the account in week one.
What Our Last Two Releases Took
Both were android and iphone app development projects on one React Native codebase, with an identical team. They still finished a month apart.
One designer, two developers. Ninety-two days from kickoff until both stores listed the app, ahead of the plan we had quoted. When a founder asks us how long a business app with real logic takes, this is the project we point to. Plan for about three months.
Same team, nine weeks, on schedule. The month it saved came from one place: the client's web product already had a working API. We built two mobile clients on top of it and never had to touch the system underneath.
Rates For Android iOS App Development
No fixed packages. Our native app development services are priced by the roles a project needs, and Android and iOS app development is quoted as one project with one team, not two quotes stapled together.
| Role | Rate |
|---|---|
| Mobile developer, dedicated (long projects) | $22/h |
| Developers on project-based work | $25–$40/h |
| Designer | $15–$20/h (up to $25 senior) |
| QA engineer, manual + basic automated tests | $20/h |
| Project manager | Included |
| Post-release support | $900–$1,700/month |
What moves the price of app development iOS and Android work:
- Whether a backend exists. A working API took a full month off the marketplace project above.
- Payments and subscriptions. Store billing, receipts and refunds on two platforms take longer than most people budget for.
- How settled the flows are. Screens that change after design is approved get built twice.
- Platform-only features. A home-screen widget or a watch app is written per platform, so it costs roughly double.
For a ballpark before we talk, our price calculator breaks a mobile build down by tier and feature.
After Launch: Support At $900–$1,700 A Month
Apple and Google ship a major OS release every year, and libraries move faster than that. An app nobody touches for twelve months starts collecting crash reports and store warnings. Our monthly support covers OS and library updates, crash monitoring, bug fixes and changes forced by new store policies. Small apps with steady traffic sit at the low end; anything with payments or heavy integrations sits higher, since that's where store and SDK changes bite. If your roadmap keeps adding features, a dedicated developer usually works out cheaper than support plus change requests.
Three Ways To Work With Us
Our native app development services come in three engagement models. Pick by how settled your scope is and who will run the product.
Project-Based
You bring the idea, we deliver both apps and the store listings. Rates of $25–$40/h by role, half the SRS written before code, budget visible in the tracker the whole way. Best when the scope fits on paper.
Dedicated Developers
Mobile engineers at $22/h who work only on your product, take priorities from you and usually stay for a long roadmap. More on dedicated developers.
Team Extension
You already have mobile people and need one or two more for a release crunch or a skill you lack. They join your sprints and your Slack. See team extension.
Industries We Know
Our two mobile cases come from FinTech and SaaS, and that is where android and ios app development with us has the most history. Across web, data and automation work we also serve these sectors:
Who Hires Us For Mobile Work
Founders Before A Round
You want a working app in investors' hands within a quarter. One React Native codebase for ios and android development is what makes that calendar realistic.
SaaS Teams Adding Mobile
The web product is live and customers keep asking for an app. Your API becomes our starting point. That's the 63-day scenario.
Companies On React
If your web client runs on React, android and apple app development in React Native reuses your team's knowledge and part of the code.
Teams Short On Mobile Engineers
Product people and backend engineers, but nobody who has shipped to the stores. Our native app development services cover that gap as a fixed project or through dedicated developers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is A React Native App Really A Native App?
For your users, yes. It comes from the App Store and Google Play and uses the phone's own interface components. You'd feel the difference in heavy media processing, AR, or watch and TV targets, and we flag those at scoping.
What Timeline Should I Plan If I Develop An App For iOS And Android At Once?
63 and 92 days for our last two. If you develop an app for iOS and Android on top of an existing backend, expect the shorter end. With a personal Google Play account, add the two-week closed test.
Do You Take On tvOS Development?
Yes, on request, and we estimate it case by case. We don't have a shipped TV app to show you yet, so we won't pretend otherwise. What we can say: React Native reaches Apple TV through a community-maintained tvOS fork, and Swift is there when a feature needs it. tvOS development has its own rules for focus navigation and the Siri Remote, so we scope it as a separate target and give you a number once we've seen the screens.
Should I Launch On iPhone First And Add Android Later?
We'd usually say no. In android and ios app development on React Native, the second platform adds a fraction of the first one's cost, so splitting the launch saves little. Sometimes it happens anyway: if your Google Play account still owes Google its two-week closed test, the iPhone version simply goes live first. On the mobile app development iOS side there is no such gate.
Who Owns The Code And The Store Accounts?
You do. IP transfers to you under the contract. For android and apple app development we also recommend opening both developer accounts in your company's name before we start. Moving a live app between accounts later is a chore, and on Google Play the company account skips the closed-test gate.
Planning an app for both stores?
Send us the idea. We'll write the first half of the spec with you and give you a range you can plan around.
